Jez Stevens (aka vj_powerpoint) started in the late 80's as one half of techno outfit Angeltech (with James Jupp now of Belbury Poly). Jez was the resident video artist as Lighthorse at Binary Nation for a number of years as well regularly performing dark ambient electronica as They_Wait. Jez currently works as an art director, sound, video and photographic artist , musician, lecturer in fine art, documentarian and oral historian.

Jez Stevens has had several corporate commissions to provide large scale video projections to celebrate various major historical events (Brunel200 and VictoriaCross150) with some of his work now residing in the Royal Collection and has recently completed a year long Heritage Lottery Funded project using vintage and long lost cine footage, field and oral history recordings to create a AV biography of
Hilsea Lido, Portsmouth. He is currently working on a 28 hour long animation to go with a forthcoming performance of Satie's Vexations.
